2024 Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Virtual Ofrenda
To celebrate Day of the Dead, known as Dia de los Muertos, we are hosting a virtual ofrenda where staff can post notes and photos of loved ones to celebrate their life. This holiday is celebrated in Mexico and other parts of Latin America by family and friends gathering to pray for and remember those who have died. It coincides with the Western Christian All Souls Day observance and runs from October 31 - November 2. Read more about Day of the Dead.
One of the main traditions connected with this holiday is building private altars called ofrendas. Ofrendas honor those who have died by displaying the departed’s pictures or other mementos and decorating the altar. Please feel free to post notes and photos in the comments below. Traditionally, ofrendas only contain images of those have passed. You will need to provide your name and email to post. We won't store your email or send you anything, we promise.
